Description for Chevrolet Nova 1974
This 1974 Chevrolet Nova does an awesome job of looking like the aggressor, and it has the extra performance in the V8 to back it up, too. Have you checked out the interior? Yes, this is a very cool custom classic machine. The yellow paint gives this one a bold first impression. It's a more recent application, and so it has a great clearcoat shine. But we really know it's this car's dark side that attracted you to... this Nova. The bold double set of racing stipes, Nova SS side callouts, and blackout window trim are all correct for the era's SS package. Adding to this attitude are the gloss black bumpers and additional striping that draws attention to the power bulge in the L88-style lightweight fiberglass hood. And because the body is free from brightwork, it really draws you eye to the polished 15-in Weld racing wheels. The first thing you'll notice on the interior are the upgraded Recaro front buckets. After all, these cool classic pieces are icons all on their own and are still exceptionally comfortable. The dual spoke steering wheel gives you a commanding view to the classic long speedometer and the road ahead. Plus, you have all the right upgrades, including the AM/FM/cassette stereo w/digital tuner, power steering, and a Hurst shifter. The engine bay shows that this is a build with power in mind. The original 350 cubic-inch block was upgraded later in life with full Crane performance kit including camshaft, pushrods, rockers, chain, and, valve springs. Plus, the heads were ported and polished. More recently it was also topped off with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake. It exhales with authority as long tube headers feed an H-pipe dual exhaust. You have full control over this V8 and its performance soundtrack thanks to the Doug Nash 4+1 five-speed manual transmission. It's a strong setup that features subframe connectors, traction bars, and Nitto drag radials in the rear to confidently deliver the power to the pavement. Plus, power brakes w/discs up front and sway bars front & rear deliver an all-around confident driving experience. The sale comes with the original bill of sale, warranty card, and owner's manual. It has been a labor of love for multiple owners over the decades, and there are the maintenance records to prove it. So now is your chance at a unique street machine. Call now!
