1961 Chevrolet Apache 1/2 Ton Pickup, Original Longbed Stepside Patina!

Up for sale is a 1961 Chevrolet Apache 1/2 ton pickup, long bed stepside. This unit does have some rust, but is surprisingly low for the year and known susceptibility.
It is equipped with a 235 six cylinder engine which is probably not original to the pickup as its serial number starts with LA. According to the GM Heritage Center for this year, the engines starting with LA were school bus engines.
The transmission is the heavy duty 4-speed with compound low 1st gear, the SM420.
As far as I can tell, this pickup is original and unchanged. It has lived its entire life within 30 miles of this location. It has been used on a farm since shortly after it was new and was not tagged after the first few years or used on the roads, and because of that it was not exposed to road salt.
It does have a 12-volt battery, but still has the generator. It starts, runs and drives, but you should plan on trailering it home.
