Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1968
Awesome 1968 Camaro with a 327 Cu. In. engine and factory in the floor 2 Speed Powerglide Transmission
One of my friend’s dad (who passed away) Restored this beautiful car and he has asked me to sell the car because he can no longer take care of it. His dad Completed the restoration about 3 years ago, I have seen a lot of restorations and this one has been done well.
This iconic American Muscle car was brought back to a pristine factory condition. It appears that every item was restored or replaced, the car looks, handles and drives great just like it did when it was new.
I have this car in my shop and have driven the car, the engine is peppy, the transmission shifts smooth, it steers well and stops well, but I would add either a power booster or front disc brakes to improve the braking action of the car.
The car appears to have no rust or body filler and all body panels are straight with the fit of doors, trunk, hood and fenders being very good. All the glass in the car is in excellent condition along with the weather-stripping. The interior has been completely restored and is flawless.
The paint on the car is a 2 stage, base coat/clear coat metallic system of Green with black stripes, the stripes were inlayed under the clear and the transition from green to the black stripes is almost nonexistent. The paint has been wet sanded and buffed to a beautiful professional finish with no orange peel or imperfections in the finish.
All door jabs along with the undersides of the trunk and hood have been finished in the same quality as the exterior of the car.
The car also sports a perfect black interior that consist of the deluxe black leatherette material with new seat covers, seat foams, door panels, headliner, chrome trims, new door handles, window cranks, new loop pile carpet and painted surfaces to match.
Finally, the pictures do not do this car justice, it looks better in person so please come to see this great car, you will not regret it.
