You are considering a 1956 Corvette project car. 1 of 3467 built. Original colors Cascade Green with Shoreline Beige interior and trim. Only 147 1956 corvettes were built in that color combination. Highly optioned with the 225hp Dual Quad engine. 3 speed transmission. both hard and soft tops. Power soft top. Power Windows. Radio. and Courtesy lights. This corvette has been sitting for over 30 years and is currently not running or driving. The engine turns freely. The short block is a "870" casting 327. The Heads. Exhaust Manifolds. Distributor. Valve covers. Radiator. and complete dual quad setup are original dated components. The 3 speed transmission and rear diff are dated originals. The body currently has a very old metalflake paint job. The car was damaged in the rear and there is a old splice repair thru the trunk. Rest of body in good condition. The frame rails are all solid except the left rear behind the axle. There is a rust line that I believe will need repair. The rear frame cross member in in poor condition and should be replaced. We powered up the electrical and the horn. wipers. both power windows. headlights. brake lights. tailights. and turn signals work. The glass is in good condition.
