Description for Chevrolet Nova 1967
This 1967 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova SS was built to do only one thing â€" go fast! And with a powerful fuel-injected 400 V8, big investments in performance upgrades, and custom two-tone presentation, it doesn't try to hide its speedy intentions... which means everyone will hide from you on the street and the strip. Novas are great cars to start with as a Pro-Street custom build because they are small in size, light in weight, but big in... stature. And when you take a hardtop like this and give it a slick custom attitude, it really brings out the best in the Chevy's design. The Charcoal Gray is a modern color with plenty of metallic shine to signal a modern investment in this Nova. And the same goes for Burgundy Metallic lower portion. There's silver that not only provides a nice dividing line, but also it emphasizes the sporty kick-up over the rear fender that made these second-gen Novas look great. But the reason why you love this is more than just the paint. The whole coupe has a performance look with the hood pins, color-matched bumpers, and the power bulge of the cowl hood. And not only do those Weld Racing wheels have painted inserts, but also they instantly draw attention to how meaty the rear rubber is. When you open the door, you see an all-black interior with all the right equipment to be a true street king. It starts with two modern bucket seats with the right bolstering to keep you planted. And you gotta love details, like the red inserts that match the bow tie in the headrest and the rear panel. Racing belts, fire extinguisher, and a roll cage complete this competition-worthy package. You get a grippy small-diameter sports steering wheel, crisp AutoMeter auxiliary gauges, and large AutoMeter Sport-Comp tach mounted where you can always see it. That goes particularly well with the Hurst Quarter Stick shifter. Ok, we won't leave you in suspense any longer about the monster motor. It's a 400 cubic-inch V8, which gives you small block weight but big block displacement. This has the optimal power delivery with a FI Tech fuel-injection system that can be adjusted via a touchscreen mounted on the interior dash. Plus, you have other go-fast goodies like an Edelbrock hi-rise intake and long tube Hooker headers that feed the growling dual exhaust. This motor also has the right supporting components, like an MSD ignition, upgraded pulleys, and a Be Cool aluminum radiator w/electric fan. You have a stout TCI 350 three-speed transmission with manual valve body for complete control. And a Dana 60 rear end means proper and strong take-offs. And you know those ultra-wide Mickey Thompson rear tires keep the rubber on the road. There's a tubular A-arm front suspension, ladder bars in the rear, and adjustable coilovers at each wheel. Plus, you have rack & pinion steering and power brakes with discs up front. So you're looking at a custom build that is ready for far more than just the quarter-mile runs. This is a mean street machine, and that's what makes it so nice to own. Don't let this growling Nova slip away, call today!
