Description for Chevrolet Blazer 1971
my 1971 K5 Blazer 4X4 in Hugger Orange. It was a frame on restoration have receipts of work done on Truck has original engine had instrument panel replaced and steering wheel only shows less than 75 miles still have original speedometer that showed over 70,000 miles original engine runs great and has that old school rumble sound. Has new exhaust system, new tires only 70 miles on new tires, 4 inch lift with new Rancho shocks, heat shield, new Champion radiator engine purrs it's awesome and the highly desired Hugger Orange color. Only thing not done with this to Original is to lift truck and powder coat frame and then probably redo breaks to make it mint. These first Generation Blazers are Hot I see a couple on Ebay selling for 60K-79K and not as nice as mine. I even saw some at auction go in the high 80K range at Mecum and Barrett Jackson in a few years this will only go higher in price as they didn't make a lot of K5's in the 1971 production year and it's the year that collectors of K5 Blazers like the most. A great running Truck that will be fun to work on and show off it gets lots of looks on the road. Comes with manuals, a OSU Beaver Tire cover for spare, It was a frame on Restoration with tons spent and my dream Truck looking for the right buyer no low balling please so make a real offer or get ignored. Here is a youtube link you can hear it run and take a peek as I do a walk around. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBwSNn9HZtMPS. If you have any other questions or need additional photos or information feel free to shoot me an email. Peace. PS. Has a tiny little hairline crack in right rear window hardly noticeable in right rear window both windows on hardtop have been tinted.. Comes with manuals and a cover that I bought to go along with this gem of a Truck. Good Luck! If you type 1971 K5 Blazer CST Hugger Orange on your search engine you will see my Truck also have pics on my Pinterest. Peace. Underbody has some rust marks on frame but everything is solid. Will try and go back into my external hard drive to see if I can find some pictures of when I did the Restoration in 2014 Most of the Body work and paint and mechanical was done at Hot Rod Dreamworks in Canby, OR. Also had suspension, lift and other mechanical done at Accessory Outfitters in Aloha, OR. Any other questions feel free to shoot me an email. Reserve price will not be published. Enjoy if highest bid gets close to my reserve I will consider a second chance offer or eliminate the reserve that is near the cost of buying and restoring this Rare Hugger Orange CST Blazer. Enjoy. Added new instrument panel everthing works like temp, fuel levels, but MPH is off and needs tuned. The instrument panel is cool and even has a clock in the center its black with white. I also kept original instrument panel that shows the 70K miles on it the new one shows 75 miles. This Truck gets lots of looks on the road and just a few more things could make this a 100K show stopper at Barret Jackson or Mecum. Enjoy.
On Jul-28-19 at 19:37:03 PDT, seller added the following information:
Got out tape measure the K5 Blazer is around 8 feet in height give or take an inch or so, and the length is 175 inches, with spare tire carrier you need to add another 15 or 16 inches to make sure it fits in your garage. Another thing it isn't water sealed so only ride on clear days as it isn't water proof always keep in Garage you should anyways because you want to keep the rain off the steel and have it hold it's value plus you only drive K5's when its nice out anyways and if you take the top off you want to have a clear sunny day on the beach. Good luck.
Just found a ton of pictures in my archive email during the restoration have pictures of what the truck looked like before and pictures of some of the body work and paint job. If you would want I can send you pictures of the truck condition during the restoration process. Let me know. T PS. I also have a list of all the parts requested from the shop here they are.Hot Rod Dreamworks & Collision 24315 S. Hwy 99E Canby OR 97013 503-266-6511

The list above wasn't all the parts ordered just the first order when they got to look at the floor panels and the rear bumper. We ended up replacing both the front grill and rear bumper with high end chrome replacements at LMC Truck. Also bought spare tire carrier separate and they powder coated and installed where original one was on before. I noticed I don't have a picture of the Truck face on let me know if you would like one as it looks cool with the black grill and chrome accents with the blue bow tie in the front! Chevy strong like a ROCK! LOL Oh, most marker lights are new we did keep original head lights as they were in great shape as well as the windshield was in great shape as well as all the glass on the hard top and was tinted.
