Wow! Offered for sale is a 1980 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe with what is believe to be just over 38k original miles on car. This 1980 Corvette underwent what is essentially a frame off restoration with everything being documented down to nuts and bolts. The "Code 58" dark green paint was the least produced color in 1980 and it is all-original paint around the car and you are still able to see the bonding creases on both front fenders as well... as rear quarter panels. Being this is original paint there is some wear present but it is what you would expect to see with paint this age. It is our guess the previous owner who completed the project was either saving the paint for last to complete the restoration or chose to keep the original paint. The polished aluminum wheels give this car a great look and are in very nice original condition and have been fitted with a set of Mastercraft Avenger G/T's which stands out nice. This car also has a nice beige pin stripe which breaks up the paint and pairs well with the beige leather interior. Originally this Corvette was equipped with a doeskin cloth interior; however it has been changed to a light tan leather interior which present's much better and keeps with the original color combination of the car. The interior of the car shows extremely well features new seats carpeting stereo system door panels and more! This Corvette also has power windows power locks and air conditioning and is an enjoyable car to drive! During the restoration the body came off of the frame and it looks as though almost everything has either been replaced or has been taken apart repaired and reconditioned. We have receipts that total well over $20000 (literally 2inches high) that the owner had put into this car and it shows. While the engine is not original the engine does run out excellent and the transmission has been replaced with a Performance Transmission Stage 1.
