Description for Chevrolet Corvette 1970
There isn't much cooler than a chrome bumper Corvette, and we are proud to bring this 1970 into inventory. This 1970 Chevrolet Corvette coupe has a lot going for it. The color combination is what this car left the factory with and is pure classic Corvette. Monza Red paint (code 974) with a Black interior (code 400) is what everyone pictures when they think of a classic Vette. The sexy curves of a C3 Corvette set these cars apart from... the crowd. They look fast when they are parked! This particular car is well optioned and is a great driver. Options include power steering, power brakes, rally wheels, raised white letter radial tires, t-tops, vinyl interior, seat belts, AM radio and A/C (complete but not blowing cold). The chrome bumpers front and rear, rally wheels with chrome beauty rings and center caps, fender grills and Stingray badging take this Corvette over the top! the original 350 CID V8, she is ready to cruise and enjoy. The partial VIN stamping in the engine matches the car and it has the Date and Suffix codes of V012CTG, which decode to a 300 horsepower 350 V8 from a 1970 Corvette. The engine is backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. The interior shows well with black vinyl bucket seats, Corvette seat belts pads and an aftermarket armrest that is essential for these cars. It comes with a car cover as well. There were several improvements for the 1970 Corvette. The fender flares were updated to prevent the tires from throwing up debris and causing paint damage. That was an issue for the 1968 and 1969 models. The fender louvers were redesigned for 1970, and the exhaust tips were rectangular instead of round. The front grilles were square mesh and the parking lamps went to clear lenses with amber bulbs. There were other changes to the interior and mechanical aspects of the 1970 Corvette as well. The 1970 production was stalled making it a very low production year with only 10,668 coupes made TOTAL for 1970. Don't miss your chance to own this classic Corvette for a fantastic price! This vehicle is eligible for a Classic Vehicle Protection warranty! Ask a salesman about CVP today!
