Description for Chevrolet Nova 1967
1967 Chevy II Nova 2 Door Post CarWe've had this 67 Chevy II in my family for the 32 years and garage kept the entire time we've owned it. The car is an original 6 cylinder, powerglide transmission with column shifter, power steering and dealer add on AC. My uncle didn't like the bench seat, color or wheel so the buckets replaced the bench, 14" Cragar SS replaced the hubcaps, red paint replaced the original white cream exterior color and black interior replaced factory fawn colored interior. The car was painted approximately 20 years ago with Imron Polyurethane and still looks good for a driver but does show signs of ageing. All body panels are original GM with exception of a small area above the right rear qtr which was replaced due to rust. We cut the 5" long section out and welded a patch in to replace the corrosion and it still looks good 20 years later. The original 6 cylinder was rebuilt when we painted the car so it doesn't have 2000 miles on the rebuild. Recently was replaced the tires because of dry rot, front brake hoses and wheel cylinders due to the car not being driven. The AC worked perfect but the compressor locked up 10 years ago and we never replaced it but do have the compressor and what brackets we remove with the unit. That being said, by no means is the car a show car or anywhere near but is a SOLID rust free which is a great driver as is and perfect candidate for an LS swap. I've got several pieces to go with the car and would consider selling a mustang II set up my uncle bought years ago for the car.
