1968 Chevrolet Bel Air with a Salvage title. only salvage title because I purchased it from a dismantler. The dismantler only sells vehicles with clean titles to dealers/brokers. I am neither. I went to the dismantler to purchase parts for my other car. when I saw that this beauty was literally the next in line to be CRUSHED!! I could not let this beauty be crushed as there is already not enough of these classics left on the road. so I paid for her on the spot and saved it for future generations to enjoy!I am only selling because I have too many other projects and would rather let someone else enjoy building up this beauty. I believe the engine is a 283. it cranks. but does not turn over. I was pulling the engine and storing it anyway and putting in my BBC 454 that I have sitting in my garage. Body and interior are good for its age. factory AC car and mostly all original. Almost no rust. needs minor tlc. Need windows for the Driver side front and rear door. needs driveshaft as well. I just put on 4 practically almost brand new tires that I will include with the car if the car reaches my expected price. I can also include a running and driving BBC 454 engine mated to a TH400 tranny for an additional $1500 added on to the final bid price. if this is what you desire. please message me and I will include it.
