Description for Chevrolet Chevelle 1965
1965 Chevrolet Malibu Chevelle
This car is absolutely stunning! It is such a great ride! It rides like a new car. It steers and sounds like a new car. It only has 9438 miles on it!! Yes, that it all the miles that this car has on it. It has had only 2 owners and it is a great time capsule.
The current owner of this car is 70 years old sand is a true car enthusiast. He purchased this car from the family of the original owner, and it has been well kept.
I have been listing vehicles on eBay since 1998 and these cars are fun to list. Especially when I know that the owner is selling the car and not just seeing what he can get out of it. I have sold at least two other cars for Leo. One was a Yenko and another was a Corvette. He does not mess with anything but the best.
According to the VIN on this car, it is a Chevrolet, Chevelle Malibu, 8 Cylinder, 2 Door Notch Back Hardtop Coupe, model year 1965 and built in Baltimore, Maryland.
When Leo bought this car, he went over all the brakes. He replaced the wheel cylinders and shoes as well as the master cylinder and all the hardware.
He then replaced all the hoses and belts and the radiator.
He then replaced the fuel tank, sending unit and the fuel lines.
A new set of American Racing wheels and BF Goodrich Tires were installed. He kept the original wheels and hubcaps.
The heater core had been leaking for some time. You can see a small mark on the passenger floor mat. Leo replaced he heater core and the carpet had that smell from the leak, and he obtained a new carpet set.
This car starts right up and sounds perfect.
At some point several years ago the car was repainted. The chrome was removed from the sides and a good original color paint was done. It was done well and there are very few flaws in the paint.
Looking over the car I could not find many marks at all on the car.

This car really is amazing, and you will have a hard time finding a car like this one. It has never been restored. This car other than the paint is a survivor and is in original condition.
It comes with the original owner’s manual and it even has the original Chevrolet Bandana! I have never seen one of these.
It also comes with the tissue dispenser. How cool is that! Everything on this car works like a car with 9438 miles on it! All the gauges, lights, and even the AM radio and speakers sound great. The clock works perfectly, and the heater and fan controls are smooth and easy to operate. They do not bind or catch.
When you open the trunk, it is stock. The floor mat is intact and looks new. Even the rubber behind the rear bumper is still there. You never see that now. The fender wells in the rear look new.
The interior shows no real signs of wear at all. The driver’s door panel has a small mark around the window regulator but nothing big. You can see the plastic chrome has aged. The headliner shows no age at all. The dash looks perfect. The car shows every sign of low miles.
Both bumpers are not perfect. They both should be removed and re-chromed. They are not bad, but they will need done.
Under the car is all original. It has had nothing done to it all. There is no issues under the car other than it has not been painted or cleaned at all. It is factory original under the car.
This car is a great car to cruise in and enjoy. It has low miles and has been kept well. It has been gone over and a few miles have been put on it recently. It has a 283 CID engine with a 2-barrel carburetor. The 283 was one of the best built Chevrolet engines. They last forever and were great engines. They were my favorite.
Please do not hesitate to ask any questions. I can take more pictures of the car if needed and I can do more video footage if that will help. I will assist you with shipping this car anywhere in the world… at your expense.
I have been selling on eBay for many years. Up until recently I was doing this full time for a dealership. I am now starting to get into it again on my own. So, I can help you out and you can be sure you are getting a great car.
Leo really does need to sell this car, so he is not asking a price that is out of reason. It is a very reasonable asking price. Feel free to call me and make your best offer. We have a reserve on the car, but it is a good reserve.
