This beautiful 1957 Chevy was purchased with the intention of driving it this up-coming car show season. but it doesn't appear myself or my family will be showing this one as much as we would like. Therefore. I would like to give someone else an opportunity to own this great car. Beautiful colors. rare options. and a good original Chevy for the beginner in the car hobby or someone who isn't looking for a 'perfect' car. Has been restored only as needed to show and drive on a regular basis. This would be great for someone who wants to take the family out on a weekend or drive around to the local cruise-ins and car shows. The transmission shifts smoothly. The car will get down the road and will flow with modern traffic effortlessly. Lights. turn signals. brake lights. all work. Speedometer is not currently operational. but the factory temp gauge and gas gauge are (though it does not read accurate all the time). The car steers and stops easy. Radio plays well. It is ready to drive and enjoy right away. This Chevy is a nice car that looks and drives great. Lots of good chrome. good body. etc. You should expect some minor flaws due to age and driving. but the car looks great for being the original driver it is. The interior is factory original. and quite nice for the age. but does have some wear on the front seat and a seam separation (thus the lower cover on the seat to keep it from getting worse). Good looking dash and steering wheel. Detailed engine and trunk compartments. Overall. it's a sharp looking and driving Chevy! If you're in the market for one of these.
