Description for Chevrolet El Camino 1964

Up for auction is a 1964 el Camino Custom. NO TITLE! I will provide a Bill of Sale. This is a running project car. Engine runs good. moves forward. backward. Top off the brake fluid and it stops! : )V8. NEW Edlebrock 4 bbl. Runs GOOD!2-speed PowerGlide automatic trans. B&M floor shifter. I checked the engine casting number on the MORTEC website. The casting number indicates it's a 283. If it is. it's a NASTY sounding 283! Idles smooth - no lumpy idle. PowerPak heads. headers. I have no idea of the internals (cam. lifters. valves. springs. rods. pistons)10 bolt rear end. Not sure of the gear ratio. The front clip. and doors are in good shape. The quarter panels have the bottom rusted out. You can get lower patch panels or replace the entire quarter panels. The floors have small holes rusted through. Floor pans are cheap if you want to replace them. Not much for interior. It has some import bucket seats installed. After market steering wheel. After some thought I felt I needed to ad some more information about the el Camino. The car runs and moves forward and backward. but it is not roadworthy. You can not drive this car home. It will have to be transported on a trailer or car transport. The car can be driven on to your trailer or transport. The lights. the horn. heater and wipers do not work. It may need a new wiring harness?I have a set of bumpers that are slightly bent. I have all the factory glass (green tint) in excellent condition. If you have a feedback rating of (0) your bid will be deleted unless you contact me!You will need to do the research on shipping costs to your location. Good luck bidding!
