Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1968
For sale is my 1968 Camaro. Relisting (hopefully for the last time. it missed reserve by a few bucks last time) I've owned it for years with hopes of fully restoring one day. Sparing the details it has been garage kept. It is very clean with no rot. It has a small block 350 and a TH350 automatic transmission. neither original. 10 bolt rear and electric fuel pump. It runs and drives! It starts up with no problem. Included with the car is a TON of extra/new parts for the restoration. This includes most of the trim pieces. wheel covers. windshield and rear window. chrome bumpers. and an accessory kit containing just about every new bolt to put it all back together. There are also many other parts and accessories. I will include some pictures. Also not seen on the car. but included. are the hood brackets. hood latch. and hood. The hood is the only part in "rough" shape. Also included is most of the interior trim. carpeting. sound deaden-er. headliner. door panels etc. Also Included is most of the exterior shiny trim. and headlamp moldings. As far as the car: The windows front/rear roll up without problems and the doors/trunk are good. The frame and undercarriage is in great shape. The engine starts with no problem. and the car drives. The battery was relocated to the trunk and it is good. The tire tread is good but the tires will have to be checked for operational road use (the have been on the car for a while). If the car were to go on the road any time soon I would check the brakes. and rubber hoses/belt. just for precaution. The radio is not hooked up. The lights and horn work. The heater/blower work (sorry no factory a/c). The windshield wipers work. The roof was replaced as the prior owner had installed an ugly sunroof. The roof supports were also replaced for precaution. The radiator and radiator support are new. The floor and trunk are good with no holes or weak spots. The rear marker lights were also "deleted" by the previous owner. The rear quarters are solid. This is a "clean/clear" bill of sale only (no NY title laws for this vehicle due to age). I have a prior NYS transferable registration as well. The vin is 124378N343147. It can be registered with no problem and the vin is clean. This is a great change to own a '68 Camaro in such a condition. with a treasure trove of parts included. Also included is literature regarding the rebuild. Buyer is responsible for shipping/pickup. The car can be driven onto a trailer. Please view all the pictures carefully. Try not to mind the gaps between panels as I quickly slapped this thing back together for the pictures. If you have any questions please let me know. I also have a lot more pictures available if you require. The pictures were taken in the fall. prior to winter. As I said earlier this is most likely the last time I will list this whether it sells or not. Selling something like this on eBay is very time consuming. as I answer questions through email and phone constantly. The car has also "sold" twice to scammers. which wasted over two weeks of my time. The car is definitely worth keeping over the amount of work it takes to sell!In any case this would make a great car to buy and restore (especially if you have kids!). to enjoy. or even to restore and make a quick buck. It comes with most of the required components to rebuild. except paint and time. Neither of which I have right now! Happy bidding.
