Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1969
1969 Camaro, complete restoration finished 1 year ago. Once has to see this car in person to appreciate the quaity of work, the fitment and panel gaps are perfect measured in micrometers. The color is an amazing orange pearl Tangelo with a white base that absolutelypops when the in the sun.
The goal of this restoration was to build a high tech resto-mod with quality as the number one goal. This car was built to look like it was in 1969 but with all updated exterior features including House of Color paint (some photos look red, but it is orange), 17" aluminum rims and painted stripes.
No corners cut here, all metal replaced including the sub-frames and body panels, ceramic-pro coating, highly detailed paint work done in the engine compartment as well. This is the finest paint job you will ever see. And at $35K into metal and paint it should be!
The performance of this rebuild is phenomenal, nothing spared here. ATK performance engine with Fitek fuel injection, 500HP and 525 Torque, Italian gears in this new M22 4 speed tranny, 9" (Ford) posi 350 rear, performance brakes, performance suspension with coil over's, upper and lower control arms by GlobalWest, Globalwest subframe connectors, Hotchkis leaf springs, Caltrac, MSD ignition Aeromotive fuel tank w integrated fuel pump, two 1/2" fuel lines, all new performance steering parts, many billet parts throughout, aluminum radiator w electric fan, custom 3â€exhaust, all new wiring harnesses throughout, battery mounted in trunk, LED's throughout. Every part of this car was touched!
All new interior complete with new smoked glass, carpet, seats, dash, center consil, gauges, liners and more.
Driving this car makes you feel like you're still in a 1969 Camaro, the goal was tonot lose that feeling, and we didn't. Many of the restos today are using new L7 engines which sounds and feels like a brand new Camaro...what's the point of that! Everything is lost. With this car and its 383 stroker, the sound, the feel, and power is perfectly matched. The ride is great, the handling amazing and the power is all you'll ever need.
By keeping the look consistent and with the pop of this color, this car is a show stopper. The looks from bystanders and people that gather around at public locations is pretty substantial. Nothing spared here with well over $100,000 into this car, at 75K this is of tremendous value. Bring this car to Barrett Jackson and it will be a moneymaker.
