Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1967

Buy it now or make offer. I do not need any motorcycles. Sorry. I just sold mine and I am done with bikes. Preferably, I would sell the car for cash. Long distance trading isn't my idea of a good transaction. I paid a lot for the car. When I got the car, it came with no title. So, I purchased another convertible from the east coast. (a non title state) and I now have a vin and a title for the car. The title is a bonded title and in less than three years it will be clear. I also have paper work from the original purchase that will go with the car. I took the doors off the other convertible for parts on this car and the that was pretty much it. The car went to the scrap yard. I have excellent paper work from the donor car and it will go with the car.
When this car came up on line, I noticed the suspension on it from the pictures. It has a mandrel bent sub frame and a four bar link rear end in it.There is sub frame connectors on it too. These parts are Chris Alston parts. You need to look it up. They are excellent parts. Nothing cheap!
There is a complete wilwood disc brake set up on it with discs all the way around, braided high pressure lines and a direct drive master cylinder. Custom Mag wheels, aftermarket air, new 454 engine. I do not know the HP of the engine. Since it has AC, I would think the engine is not over the top radical. I believe the transmission is an overdrive. I can not tell you which model. The pan is larger than a turbo 400.
I am impressed with the exhaust, it looks to be custom bent and tig welded. It is extremely nice.
The fire was contained by the sound deadening matt used for the stereo. I can see that the wire is toasted from the battery going forward. So, I suspect that the fire was electrical.
The rear half of the car and quarters are extremely clean. It is so clean that I think it might be an aftermarket body. The front clip is in real nice shape and so is the hood. The doors are suspect. Best practice would be to replace the doors. The trunk lid and spoiler are not worth saving.
I have never tried to fire up the engine. I see no reason why it wouldn't be good. There is no visual damage to it. I have built repairibles with interior damage and never had a problem with the transmissions. The concept is, the heat goes up and there is a buffer from the floor. I would lean towards believing the transmission is good, but cannot guarantee it.
I would love to keep everything, but I have to be realistic. I cannot keep everything. I have many project cars, I am just looking to move a couple now.
This car has the potential to be a very high end car. Not some everyday 350 convertible.
I can answer questions, and if I do not know, I can look at the car. I am going to list the car with a stated price and take offers. If you call and you are fishing, I'll give you a heads up that I have a couple 6 figure cars. Think smart, talk smart and I look forward to visiting with you.
This car is over the top cool and there wouldn't be a person walking buy that wouldn't like to talk about the build. Thanks for the interest.
