Description for Chevrolet Impala 1967
You are looking at a 1967 SS 427 Impala. This car belongs to my 70 year old father and he is beginning to sell off some of his assets. His car is as real and as documented as you can find. This car was sold originally in Georgia. It was assembled at the Doraville plant and comes with 4, yes 4 original build sheets. This has to be one of the most original documented Z24 cars out there. Other documentation includes* Original dealer invoice dated 2-2-67* 4 original build sheets, all completely legible* Original protect o plate* Car shipper invoice with all options matching what is on the car
This is a Marina blue car with blue interior. It is a factory 4 speed car with factory air conditioning. The miles are believed to be correct at 66,000. This car has never been apart and it runs and drives like a 66,000 mile car. It still has original carpet, dash pad, door panels, headliner etc. Everything works including the factory in dash tachometer and the am/fm radio. The trunk has the original mat, jack and tools, and I believe the factory original red line spare. The car retains a lot of original paint and shows like you would expect a 52 year car would.
The engine was rebuilt around 1983 or 1984 and during the rebuild the block was decked. The pad is blank but the block is dated K 25 6 (November 25, 1966). The block casting is 3904351. I have the original water pump that goes with the car and it is dated K 21 6. The car was assembled the fourth week of January, 1967. Someone could have the deck stamped back to match the protect o plate if they chose to do so. The transmission and rear end are original and match the numbers on the protect o plate.
A great original car with no rust through or rot ever.
I can send more pictures to serious buyers. I would be willing to take a trade plus cash on another classic car. No hot rods.
Please text or call with any questions. 816-716-2417
The car is available for inspection anytime. I encourage any potential buyer to come drive and inspect the car in person. You will not be disappointed.
