Description for Chevrolet C-10 1972
Chevrolet C-10 . Selling my beautiful 72 shortbed. She is powered by what looks to be the original 350 engine. She runs extremely smooth. Carb. is the original Rochester 4 barrel. It still has the points style distributor. The a/c compressor was upgraded in 2016 and the system converted to r 134. Blows cold. The 350 is mated to a turbo 350 transmission. Rear axle is the 12 bolt non positraction mounted to coil springs. If you are looking for a tire shredding muscle machine, this is not that. It is however, a truck that drives like it did from the factory. It easily keeps up with traffic and scoots along pretty good if necessary. Shifts extremely smooth. Steering is tight and she rides like a dream. No wander or looseness. The power disc brakes work perfectly. The interior looks great as the pictures show. Carpet, seat in excellent shape. Everything in great shape. Has the headliner as shown in pictures. Aftermarket radio works well. Custom auto sound I think. All gauges work perfectly. All lights, blinkers, headlights work as they should. Horn works when it feels like it. This truck was built in California and stayed there its entire life according to previous owner. It has the blue plates on it since day one with the original selling dealer frames as seen in pics. The chrome and trim on the truck are in great shape. Glass is good. 20 inch wheel and tire combination have about 1000 miles on them. Excellent shape. Comes with locking lugnuts installed. The bed is in great shape, with what looks to be the original wood still in place that is in unbelievable shape. The bed has a tonneau cover that is black and stored under the seat. Paint is approximately 10 years old and still looks beautiful. It has gotten a few small chips over the years that have been touched up. It is not a show truck. It is an excellent driver truck that you could show. I drive my vehicles. Not a garage queen. It is not perfect, but really nice. The undercarriage is clean and rust free. Not detailed like a show truck, but presentable. Yes the truck is quite rust free as you would expect from a California truck. Now resides in sunny dry Phoenix area. The title is a clean clear Arizona title in my name. The title shows the mileage to be actual miles. I have set what I believe to be a realistic reserve, but maybe i'm just having a senior moment. You can call me. I will answer questions honestly. Kevin 720-936-1807
