Description for Chevrolet C-10 1972
Up for sale is my 1972 K10 4x4 long bed pickup this truck would make someone an awesome restoration project or even just drive it around as is since its so cool. The truck runs and drives excellent. steering is very tight for year as well as the cab is very quiet for this year. It starts right up and runs strong with a 350 v8 GM good-wrench crate motor installed in it. I'm not sure of the mileage on the motor as it was in the truck when I purchased it. 4 speed Transmission shifts fine and 4 wheel drive works excellent. As you can see from the pictures the interior has been redone to include bucket seats and a center console that folds up for another seat. All gauges work except for temperature and speedometer but they may be fixed by the end of auction just depends on how much time I have to work on it. This truck is an a/c truck however compressor and condenser are missing. Factory radio is still installed however it is not working at the moment. Also it has a new starter. battery and battery cables. The truck has a 6 inch suspension lift with 17" rims and bf good-wrench 33" mud tires in great shape. This truck has tons of character and is a blast to drive. Looks to me as a poor restoration has already been attempted on this truck because of the poor body work. For example bondo is cracking out on hood both doors and cab below rear windshield. Also there is some rust typical to this year model of truck on both driver and passenger side rocker panels. Also there is some rust spots on top of the cab not sure how they got there but they are there see pictures for all rust spots. Luckily LMC carries patch panels for all the rusted spots on this truck and they can be purchased for under $300. Other than that the bed and tailgate will need some body work as well. I am trying to be as honest and fair with this auction as I can so if you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to get ahold of me to see if I can help.
