Description for Chevrolet Standard 1936

Car was originally built by a Missouri street rod shop around 2005. All steel car with a 3 inch chopped top, v-butt windshield, and hidden gas filler. Tail lights are sealed led as is the 3rd brake light in the rear window.Front suspension is power steering, Mustang II rack and pinion kit from Posie with new KYB shocks and new Firestone tires. Power disc brakes.Tilt GM steering column with key and small side mounted tachometer. Stewart Warner gauges. The front leather, power seats with integrated seatbelts are from a Chrysler 200 convertible. Battery kill switch on the floor between the seats. Vintage Air heat and cool unit works great.New radio with Bluetooth and USB port.New interior wide angle, day/night rear view mirror. New Hagan Fattie outside mirrors and Noodle arms. Great rear view with no blind spots.
The rear suspension is also a Posie kit; a Super Slider spring set with new KYB shocks, hooked to a recently resealed and refilled 9" Ford aftermarket housing turning an open 3:42 gearset. Drum brakes, the emergency brake is not hooked up. Rear tires are also Firestone and like the fronts, only have a thousand miles on them.Transmission is a 700r4 so gas mileage and RPM's are kept within reason on the highway. The shifter is a Lokar Hi-Tech transmission mounted unit as is the throttle and TV cable linkage.Dual (new) under car transmission coolers, both are Derale, the first is a frame rail unit and the second is an electric fan controlled unit with a temperature activated switch. The motor is a late 80's Chevy 350 block and heads with what I assume is an Edelbrock Performer cam to match the Performer intake and recently rebuilt carburetor with a 1" phenolic spacer. Brand new MSD Pro Billet HEI distributor and MSD wires with block hugger headers with heat shields. New mechanical fuel pump and regulator with gauge. Brand new aluminized exhaust system from headers back. Entire engine (including the rear main seal) have been replaced in the last 6 months. The motor (as viewed from underneath with the pan removed) still has visible cross hatching on the cylinder walls. I think the entire motor brackets and pulley system is Vintage Air but I am not 100% certain.Walker radiator and Cooling Components shrouded fan. Flushed and refilled with antifreeze mixture. New radiator overflow since it did not have one when I purchased it. New fuel tank sending unit. New mechanical speedometer corrector so speedometer reads correctly.

I bought this to do some long distance cruising so I was fixing it up to do just that. Things have changed and I am moving on to another project that has languished in my garage for 30 plus years. Please keep in mind this is a 14 year old build with 15,000 miles so road rash is to be expected. Its a nice looking car that gets many compliments but like any streetrod, there are always things to fix (like both door windows are laminated glass and cracked, just didn't get to it). If you wish to see it in person you can message me through ebay and I will call you. Scammers stay away, I've heard it all and will not respond to stupid questions or requests. I also do not want any assistance in selling the car and will hang up if you somehow get my number.
