RUNNING Project Truck!
Perfect for off-road builds!
This truck runs well. Power steering, entire 4x4 system, power brakes, etc. all working as they should. Accelerates strong. Reaches 80 MPH without trouble (I haven't tested just how fast it can actually go). Power rear windows are a bit slow going up and down.
I've upgraded the radiator to one including an oil cooler (pulled from another Blazer). I also installed an aluminumfront axle/oil pan skid plate (also from another Blazer).
I wanted to turn this into an off-road toy, but I no longer have the spare time.
Brand new parts installed:
LED Headlamps (DOT approved)
Pioneer CD/Bluetooth Stereo
Sony XS Series speakers (x4)
I've put in over $8,000 in repairs, most parts with Lifetime Warranties:
Ignition System (all AC Delco except distributor)
Fuel System
Steering
Brakes
Electrical
Exhaust (Catalytic Converter and muffler have less than 5k miles)
U-Joints (less than 500 miles)
Tires (less than 5k miles)

ABS not working as I replaced the rear axle with a recently rebuilt salvaged unit that doesn't have the speed sensors. (It also disabled Cruise Control)
Current Issues:
Front driver and passenger windows need cementing
Front passenger door lock actuator is weak.
AC clutch disconnected for winter. (works fine in summer, but constantly cycles when cold)
