GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1951 Chevrolet 3800 long bed Pickup Truck for purchase. The Advance Design trucks rolled out by GM were radically different in 1947 than pre-WWII pickups. Before this time, pickups produced were essentially glued on flat beds to whatever was produced. GM made a truck that was designed for more than just having a place to put stuff. It was a full on new version of automobile and sales took off.
This Truck came out of Colorado and was restored roughly 20 years ago. The truck shows some age but is still very presentable. It is powered by its 216ci Inline-6 Cylinder engine paired with a manual transmission. The truck rides on 16 inch, 8 lug steel wheels that are painted the same color as the body with 7.50-16 LT tires mounted up. Other highlights include a nostalgic gun rack, after market turn signals mounted on the fenders, long bed and the original heater box in the cab. This is a great truck for the money!
