Hello 57 Chevy Fans and Collectors,

Yes, this isa true storage find 1957 Chevrolet BelAir Convertible. This '57 wasbought used here inGrand Junction Colorado in 1975. (Last Title states)It was a straight trade for a newer piano on thatsummer day in '75 and the old owners mom was mad that her sonmade such a trade for a "old car".Well over the years he fixed her up little by little, got married, had a family, then painted it sapphire Blue metallic and installed a diamond tuck white interior in the late 70's looking all period correct. Sadly he passed away in early 1999 and here in the out of the way, far back roads of desert Colorado it has sat inside unknown and forgotten by all. This nice '57 has been sitting covered for the last 25 years here in dry, desert Colorado.

A VERY RARE FIND, LAST CHANCE TO OWN AORIGINAL SHEET METAL, *RUST FREE, CALIFORNIATRUE '57 V8 CONVERTIBLE, THAT HAS NEVER BEEN TRULY OFFICIALLY RESTORED.

The Perfect '57 Candidate to = Frame Off Original, or = Show Resto-Mod Big Block!

A quick car History of what we have come to know is as follows: Thistrue '57 California Rust Free Convertible with all it's original factory sheet metal (see notes) started out in Oakland, California at the Oakland Chevrolet Assembly Plant, as the original factory Vin verifies this with the "O" code. This 57 BelAir came Factory Equipped with the Power Convertible White Top, Power Pac 283220HP V8, Power Glide Automatic withDual Exhaust, Power Steering,(now disconnected has new GEN, original GEN and Fluid tank original part is included.) Vin coded: VC57O129766. Trim Tag shows all the correct Convertible Code: STYLE 57-1067DTX.

This 57 was the Beautiful Exterior Code: PAINT 799 Tropical Turquoise and the White Folding Top Factory Colors. The Interior Code: TRIM 680 was the Tropical Turquoise & White, two tone. Body Code was the Lancing MI. Body Plant Code: BODY No. L12960

The car was painted by the owner in the late 70's early eighties according to family. He was a body man and mechanic and this 57 was his pride and joy. The paint is holding up well for old paint with nicks scratches and scuffs here and there but very presentable as-is. Chrome, Glass (no cracks, clear, Stainless, all good, all there. No top on car at this time, has been down for 25 years.

Mechanical: He did a motor change in the late 70's also, retiring the old 283 V8and installed a 327 V8- 300HP High Horse Power Corvette Engine with a Muncie 4 Speed. (1967-1968 Chevrolet) car has original rear end will get codes if needed. Edelbrock Torker Intake Manifold, 4 Barrel Carb, Dual Exhaust, Shifts easy and is a very strong running 327 with high compression, no smoking, no leaks known. Good daily driver type car. Generator is newer rebuilt, radiator is good and original rebuilt.

Tires Wheels: Expensive Real Wire Spoke "WELD" Chrome Wheels with 4 New Radial Cooper T/A Tires 215x70x14"

Overall: The car has been well taken care of and is very straight overall, with no rust outs found anywhere! The only "rust" is some "surface type rust" leaving some dimples on the inside floors in spots which can be easy filled for show pictures on a restoration. this was due to the 70's shag carpet (lol) that was in the car with foam old backing.(SEE PICTURES) No rust-outs in floors, or braces, supports, body mounts, wheel houses, rockers, trunk floor, or back lower trunk gully, doors, fenders, hood, trunk lid, convertible gullys, and lower supports, shock towers, inner and weld seams inside trunk sides...that about covers it...rust free 99.5%.

This '57 is being sold as-is, itis running very well, Good Solid Motor, new tune up, plugs, points, belt, plug wires, distributor cap, & rotor, oil and fluids. New electric fuel pump and filter. Brakes are 35% left with good full pedal and E-Brake. Power top goes up and down, hydraulics work ok, one conv side lift bar needs a newrivet pivot.

Some Needs: electrical has some issues, blinkers, no speedo needle, gas gauge bounces, radio? clock? Weather-stripping fordoors and trunk needed, as originals areold.

Not very much at all needed to make this a great "daily driver" nowas-is, or "do it up", into a $100,000+ '57 CONVERTIBLE !!!!

Priced right... and ASK FOR A "BUY IT NOW"!
