1966 Chevelle SS Pro Touring Resto Mod with only 3900 miles since the off frame restoration was completed in 2013. Over $105,000 in restoration receipts. This beautiful Marina Blue Chevelle has taken home numerous "best in show awards". The previous owner/builder purchased the rust-free Chevelle out of MontereyCalifornia. Never has this Chevelle seen rain since it was restored. During the winter months, it's placed inside a plastic bubble and stored in a climate-controlledgarage. The ZZ502 Crate Engine was dyno'd at 502hp (Dyno sheet included)https://www.chevrolet.com/performance/crate-engines/big-block-502-hoThe new gas tank has an in-tank fuel pump with the return lines running to the new Sniper EFI throttle body (Electronic Fuel Injection).The glistening Marina Blue paint looks exceptionally well, making for an excellent color combination with the all-new black interior; door panels, carpet, headliner, package tray, custom dash laser cut 16 gauge sheet metal with all Auto Meter gauges, and custom made floor mats. Mating with the ZZ502 is a brand new Tremec TKO 600 5 speed manual transmission with a Centerforce dual friction clutch. Custom built Ford 9" with 3:55 gears. The previous owner researched every component for the `66 Chevelle and chose what is thought to be the best offered, such as- Global West tubular control arms for the front and Hotchkiss front and rear sway bars, QA1 front coil overs and rear shocks, Wilwood 4 wheel power disc brakes slotted and drilled, Hydroboost brake system with Wilwood Master Cylinder, Alumitech crossflow Radiator with dual electric fans, Detroit Speed GM 600 steering box, Ididit tilt steering column, stainless gas tank with internal fuel pump, Vintage Air brand modern heat and air, Nitto tires mounted on Billett Specialties "Qualifier" Rims (special ordered to have rims polished inside and out), Kenwood stereo and speakers with a Rockford FosgateAmp, power antennae, sound deadening behind door panels, headliner, carpet, and firewall.
Neatly placed in a nice big binder are receipts totaling 105K, and in another binder are pictures from the time of purchase, through the entire restoration process, and final outcome. Also, included is a 1966 Chevelle Trucker Hat, and a huge description board to place beside the Chevelle at shows.
