Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1967
1967 RS/SS 396 Chevrolet Camaro
This stunning 1967 Camaro turns heads everywhere it goes. This investment grade Camaro was originally purchased at Feld Chevrolet in Missouri, it was re-painted its original Mariana Blue in 1983 and the paint still looks very good. This Camaro has a Numbers Matching Big Block 396 engine, Automatic Transmission with Transmission Cooler and a 12 bolt posi rear end with original 3:73 gears. The floor and trunk is believed to be all original and they are in excellent condition.
This Camaro is in great condition. The body panels are all straight and rot free. The wheels are original style Camaro rally sport wheels with 14 inch raised white letter BF Goodrich radial T/A tires and in great condition. The interior has the original headliner and carpet, the seats were swapped out in the early 80s from another Camaro and are believed to be original, but just not to this car. The dash lights, directionals, back-up (reverse) lights, speedometer, tachometer, water temperature, oil pressure gauges, windshield wipers, heat and radio are all in good working and functional conditions. The factory SS steering wheels horn buttons still work. The interior has bow tie floor mats. Original Owners Manual located in the glove box. It has a Kenwood, two knob AM/FM cassette stereo with an Alpine 3525 Amplifier. As mentioned above, this Camaro was beautifully repainted with its original Marina Blue color in 1983 and is still shiny and glossy. A factory GM Cowl Hood was added at that time. In the trunk, there is a full spare with jack and the original trunk floor mat.
This temperature controlled garaged and covered 1967 Camaro runs and drives very good. The engine was completely and professionally machined and rebuilt 6 years ago by an engine shop, it is professionally maintained and still runs very strong. The transmission shifts smooth and operates well. The rear end is a 12 bolt posi. This Camaro has a Tilt Steering Wheel Column, Power steering and Power Brakes. This Camaro starts right up, runs fantastic, drives straight and shifts well. The oil pressure is good, the temperature stays normal even in summer traffic, it is a pleasure to drive on short trips to local car shows and cruise ins and or on long trips to National car shows that I have proudly taken this Camaro to many times. This Camaro shows well and it is fun to drive in car show parades. The original A.I.R Pump (smog pump) and exhaust manifolds were removed and large 1 7/8" Hooker Long Tube Jet Hot Coated Headers were installed along with a new Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum intake manifold and a 750 double pumper carburetor for improved performance. I will include the Factory Radiator Cap, Factory Upper Radiator Hose, Tower Clamps and Chrome Style Valve Covers with this car. It has a Chrome Alternator, Hi-Torque Starter, Chrome Power Steering Pump, Magnaflow duel exhaust, Mr. Gasket Differential Cover. This Camaro has just received new brakes, a tune up, oil change and a new K&N open element air filter.
