Description for Chevrolet C-10 1971

Hey Guys,So here is my latest...a 1971 1/2 ton, 1 owner, rust free, numbers matching, California, Cheyenne, 70's style custom truck.I picked this up in Sonora CA late last year.Original owner kept it all original and it had a camper shell all it's life.
Daughters family of the original owner restored the truck in 2009.Glass out, body off cosmetic restoration by Anderson Autobody in Sonora, CA. Color is close to the original Rust/White combo, with a rich,brilliant deep shine in the sun (pictures taken in multiple lighting, as the color really comes alive with sunlight.Fuel tank removed from the cab and relocated to the rear (Suburban tank), eliminating gas smells in the cabin and adding lots of usable storage space behind rear seat.All new seals, trim, gaskets, body mounts, chrome etc...really a nice job.
Numbers matching 350 was rebuilt at that time by Whalen Motorsport, in Madera CA, a specialty nascar motor builder. Ground up build with everything new, replaced or rebuilt. Approx 360 hp, and runs outstanding.Also got new dual exhaust from manifold to rear bumper, updated HEI ignition, plugs, wires, Holley carburetor, heavy duty 4 core radiator, belts, hoses, water pump, power steering pump, fuel line pump, etc. Very complete.
Transmission is original turbo 350 freshly maintained and very nice shifting unit.
Rebuilt brakes with new master cylinder.
Rebuilt drive line with new carrier baring.
Lowered 4"/4" with dropped spindles up front, springs all around, rear adjustable panhard bar & shock re-locators.
Rare, vintage, 15x8.5 polished, slotted mags. Just the right offset to fit this look, and I added 1 1/4" spacers to get the rear tires postured offset just right with the front ones.Tires are brand new 255/60r15 radials.
Interior is very nice, and is a mix of original and new materials. Everything works, including the a/c. All new rubber window seals on original safe-t-lite tinted glass. New door and window seals, glass channel felt, etc.Original owners manual, and a photo album of the restoration take by the owners in 2009 also included in the sale.
