Description for Chevrolet Chevelle 1972
I’m selling a nice 1971 Chevy Chevelle SS Tribute. Original numbers matching and original A/C car (currently A/C not working). The car starts right up and runs strong. The original motor was fully rebuilt and stroked out to a 383 with aluminum heads and a nice cam. It sounds like a true angry muscle with the dual Magna Flow exhaust and has plenty of power to smoke the tires on command. Motor is backed by a Th400 automatic transmission and a 12 bolt posi rear. This is original color combination for the car, Mulsanne Blue with white interior and a staple shifter/console. The interior is in mint condition every panel inside the car is new: both front buckets and rear seats, all 4 door panels, front and rear armrests, rear seat plastic fillers, carpet, dash pad and even the headliner. The interior was all replaced professionally within the last year. The paint is nice and shines well. No bubbles, blisters, or any scratches in the paint. All the chrome and other bright work is in great condition as well. The frame is in great shape, the floors are good all-around but show surface wear. Trunk pan for the most part is good but looks like there were previous repairs done to it. The car is always kept in a garage and never seen rain while in my possession.
The car features:
383 Stroker Motor (Original to the car)
Aluminum Heads
Weland Intake
4 Barrel Demon Carb
MSD 6A Ignition
Power brakes
Power Steering
Disc brakes in front
Headers
A/C (non-op)
Magna Flow Dual Exhaust
Th 400 Trans.
12 bolt rear
Posi rear
Real Cowl Induction Flapper Hood (non-op)
Mint to factory spec White Interior
Period Correct SS 5 Spoke Wheels
4 New Cooper Cobra Tires
…and more, which I’m forgetting at the moment.
Overall, this is a great American muscle car that you can enjoy. This is not rotisserie restored or a museum show car, but a great and fun driver that will smoke tires on command and put on a smile on your face. This is a 50 year old car, not a 2020 modern car. Understand what you are buying to avoid confusion later. Please ask permission from your wife, girlfriend, mom or whoever else before bidding. It’s listed here to sell. The car is sold as-is, where is. Buyer is responsible for shipping the car at their expense. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due once the auction ends. Full payment is due within 3 days of auction end. If you don’t have the funds, do not bid. To set up a time to see the car in person, or to make an offer or any other questions feel free to contact me anytime. The car is selling locally and I reserve the right to end the auction if a sale should occur.
Good Luck!
