Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1967

HIGHLIGHTS: Unrestored 1st year Camaro Convertible. Based on Protect-o-plate the 327 V8 motor and transmission are not only numbers matching but both believed to be original. The Camaro was re-painted in its’ original Butternut Yellow color and is still with the original interior. According to the POP and cowl tag the car is 100% stock except the radio. This Camaro features the base V8 327cid 210hp motor, a 2-Speed power-glide automatic transmission, power convertible top, power steering, bucket seats with a center-console. Clean clear title.
BODY OVERVIEW: The body is clean and straight. It still has as all of the proper emblems and trim in place and in good original condition. This car has never seen a full restoration, and it has held up remarkably well over the years. The black convertible top is a few years old and looks/fits perfectly with one very small tear where it folds (See defects photo page). The driver’s door is fully functional but the door seam is starting to separate and was bonded back together (See defects photo page).
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The car was re-painted in its’ original Butternut Yellow about 6 years ago. I would call it very good condition with minor scratches and chips. There is a spot on the rear deck lid where the convertible trim molding lifted a small piece of paint and the very small dings in the truck lid along the edge (See defects photo page).

INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The black vinyl interior is believed to be original and shows the wear you would expect for a car that is over 50 years old. The worst wear is on the driver seat and door panel where there is some tearing (See defects photo page).

MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Under the hood is the original V8 327cid 210hp motor and 2-speed power-glide automatic transmission. The car starts, runs, and drives as it should. The car is ready for a cross country trip as it is. We have done a few 500+ mile day trips this past year.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: Classic unrestored 1967 Camaro Convertible with its’ original motor and transmission with 97K+ believed to be original miles. The Camaro is still in its’ correct colors; inside and out. The overall originality of this car is impressive right down to the keys with coded knock-outs. Complete with a log book for the last 33 years covering the mileage of 54K until today (1987-2020). The car is a pleasure to drive and gets more attention on the roads than any other car I drive.
WHAT YOU MIGHT NOT LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: If minor paint defects and other small signs of age and wear bother you, this is not the Camaro for you. The defects page shows most of the major issues. The paint looks great but there are some chips. The trunk lid has multiple small hail like dings that I could not get a good picture of because they are so small. Stopping distance must be respected since this base Camaro has original drum brakes. The driver kick panel has a hole where a speaker used to go; I replaced the passenger side kick panel.
