About this vehicleThis 1989 Chevrolet Camaro is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Still under 100k miles!Seller's NotesI chose to keep this one as a stocker since it was in such great shape when I found it. This vehicle runs great, has cold AC (converted to r134) and matching numbers. The weather has been really good here in Florida lately to drive it around without the T-Tops attached. When its not on the road, i keep it in the garage.I replaced all the needed parts on my way through the top end overhaul last summer (2019) so you can rely on this car to run for a long time. Take a look at the worksheet for all that has been done to it. I have receipts for everything.
A previous owner did replace the original radio with one with a CD player and I haven't gotten around to swapping it back. Aside from that, everything on the car is original. Buyer must arrange their own pick up.ExteriorThe exterior is in good condition. The frame is straight and this vehicle is rust free. There are minor scratches on front nose from normal wear over 30 years. A previous owner did a spray over so the paint is nice but imperfect. Take a look at the picture with all the RPO codes and you can see all the features that car comes with. This one has been well preserved.InteriorThe interior is the original Carmine Red leather. The white exterior with a bright red interior draws a lot of attention when I take it out and would have been a harder color combination to find when it rolled off the lot. There is a small tear on the driver's seat. Probably from driving with a wallet in the back pocket (and it's 31 years old).The antenna to the radio needs to be replaced but aside from that everything works as it should electronically including the power seats and windows.It's clean and ready for you to enjoy it!EngineI did a Top End Overhaul over the summer (2019). The heads were machined and the valves resealed. I had Eisley's Machine Shop in Tampa do it right. New Gaskets and EGR lines. This car is leak free and runs strong.As you know, the 5.7 liter engine is the actual IROC and that means it also has the 700R4 transmission.
