Description for Chevrolet Corvette 1973
This 1973 Chevrolet Corvette was given a rotisserie restoration later in life. The result is a car that has sharp looks and some terrific upgrades (including a five-speed and A/C interior.) So dig into the details on a classic sports car that was made for enjoyment. The factory correct silver paint on this Stingray has a nice gloss. It's the result of a full restoration about a decade ago, and when you pay for quality, it lasts. Good color is what you want on a '73, because it's a distinctive year. The chrome front bumper was replaced by form-fitting color-matched unit that integrated into the rest of the body almost seamlessly. This gave a whole new dimension to the car as the shaper front end seemed to be the right fit with C3's well-creased silhouette. What also makes the '73 unique is that it's the only year with the new front, but still retains the chrome in the rear. This distinct piece, and all the other brightwork (including the luggage rack, rockers, and window trim,) looks like it received the right attention during the restoration, too.
The red interior was another of this car's upgrades, and it really adds a vibrant distinction. But more than just great colors, the budget was spent here to make sure this is a terrific cruiser. For example, the radio has been upgraded to a modern digital tuner that has a nice retro-style to fit with the rest of the classic interior. And the air conditioning is blowing cold with modern R134a, so you can enjoy this one with the T-tops out even in the summertime. Plus, you get the grippy three-spoke steering wheel on a tilt column, large speedo and tach directly in front of you, and the auxiliary gauge package is at eye-level.
Under the hood is the 350 cubic-inch V8 engine. It inhales deeply with a four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with sweet sound out of the dual exhaust. While we love a good small block, what really makes this one especially appealing is that they upgraded the transmission to a five-speed manual. That means more gears than even the factory gave you to allow for better control. Power steering, four-wheel power disc brakes, and the fully-independent sports suspension all come together to deliver a classic car that loves your favorite road as much as you do.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual, restoration photos, and extras like a car cover and T-top bags. This is the nicely restored and upgraded Corvette offered for an obtainable price. So you know you need to act fast to get your hands on it. Call today!!!
