Description for Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1964
An affordable, cool-cruising 1964 Chevrolet Bel Air sedan always seems like a great idea. Not only is it one of the most honest classics around, but also the motor was even given a nice rebuild to make sure you have a Chevy that loves to hit the road. This is a very desirable generation for the full-sized Bel Air. Blocky styling gave this a real presence on the streets, and the full-length details really added to this substantial appearance. Quad headlights and a wide grille put a striking face forward. In the rear, Chevy signified the styling direction of the 60s by eliminating the tailfin, and give it a clean, elegant, and wide form that was all highlighted by an artful chrome bumpers. While you're back there, you might even spot what could be the original dealer tag still on the rear. It's all part of a very vintage and very honest package. And everything from the bright factory wheel covers, to the way the steel doors close with confidence instantly makes us nostalgic for this optimistic era.
Inside is a more 1960s style presented with a proper preservation. Two wide rows of bench seating were all about plenty of room for people to spread out in this full-size Bel Air. Clean carpets, front seatbelts, and a taut headliner make it an easy place to spend some time. There are nice classic details everywhere you look - from the intricate pattern on the door panels to the AM radio w/separate 8-Track that are there for display. The dual-spoke steering wheel feels grippy in your hands, and its thin style gives you a clear view to the speedometer that's as long at the horizon.
Open the hood, and you're looking at a Chevrolet legend. After all, the inline-six was the backbone of the bow tie well before the small block. And this hardy 230 cubic-inch motor was also given a comprehensive rebuild. It was fully dissembled, washed, cleaned, and then reconstructed. The rebuild included grinding/smoothing the crankshaft, new rod bearings, Melling valve lifters, new pistons/rings, Melling oil pump, and much more. The result is a strong powerhouse that loves to fire up and run. Plus, features like the three-speed automatic transmission and new shocks make it easy to enjoy on the road.
The sale comes complete with build receipts and maintenance records. Vintage distinction and nice motor investments come together at a great price. Don't miss this deal, call today!!!
