DESCRIPTION AND TERMS OF SALE:

Up for Auction and Local Sale is my early year 1968 Chevrolet Corvette. The car was originally a factory big block 427, but was converted by it’s previous owner to a small block 350. It is mated to an automatic transmission. Aftermarket headers and exhaust have been installed and sound tough, but not obnoxious. Both the engine and transmission are strong and healthy and have been maintained by the Corvette Club of Georgia’s mechanic. I can provide you with his information should you have any questions regarding the history of the car.

The corvette drives straight and planted at city and highway speeds. A brand new vinyl soft top was put on only a few hundred miles ago, but I think the windows will need minor adjustments to fit properly. I have only used this as a summer car, so it’s never been a big issue. New radial Cooper tires were put on at the same interval.

Comes with all new weatherstripping for windows, pillars, convertible top, and rear deck lid. These items WILL BE included with the sale.

I also have the original 1968 two-toned seats (switched out for 1972 style temporarily to have them reupholstered, but never got around to it), a retro-style bluetooth radio, polk audio door speakers, new complete door panels, window trim, window felts and all-weather car cover that I could potentially work outto be included with the sale if the vehicle sells at asking price. These items are currently NOT included in the sale, but I am willing to work out a deal with the winning buyer. Just these items alone are worth big dollars.

A fun, classic car that turns heads and brings back good times and great memories. It is not in concourse d’elegance shape and will need some TLC to get her to excellent standards. But with some wrench turning and a paint job of your choice, you will have one heck of a nice ride.

PAYMENT TERMS:

The successful high bidder will submit a $500.00 nonrefundable payment deposit with PayPal within 24 hours of the close of the auction. Buyer agrees to pay the remaining balance via bank wire transfer of funds to my account due within 3 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle. It's your responsibility to pick up the vehicle within two (2) weeks from end of auction at my location or arrange shipping to your location at your cost.

PAYMENT METHODS:

PayPal for nonrefundable deposit only. This is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The remaining balance is to be paid by Bank wire transfer within three (3) business days after the auction ends. Bank routing # will be forwarded after end of sale.
