There have been some nice investments in this coupe, and the first place you notice is the paint. It's a sleek and modern black that was laid down with care. The presentation under the hood is both clean and mean. This is a mighty 402 cubic-inch big block filling the engine bay. The bold block paint is accented by chrome valve covers and air topper to really draw attention. Plus, it features the right investments in added power, including a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and headers that add even more muscle while also contributing to the rumble of the dual exhaust. There are also nice supporting components like the steel braided lines and an aluminum radiator. The V8 fires up with gusto, and you have full control thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. We don't have the build sheet to confirm this is a true Super Sport, but it does have the correct pieces that go beyond the easily seen ones, like the round gauges. The quick ratio power steering box, 12-bolt rear end, boxed rear suspension, and rear sway bar are not only helpful, but also features you find on a true Super Sport. Add in power brakes with discs up front and BF Goodrich T/As with extra-wide rear rubber, and this is a well-done muscle car total package.
