Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1972
I was working in a rural area on a dead-end road and I spotted this car alongside about the barn. The owner did not want to part with it. he had good memories of the car. nbsp;it was going to sit there and parish. I traded a 1999 Ford custom van for the car. Back in 1982 when I was in high school. one of my first cars was a 1971 Pontiac Firebird. it had a 455 and a Turbo 400. It was by far one of the fastest and coolest cars I've ever owned. It's one of the cars I wish I still had. So when I spotted this car I had to have it. The cool thing about these cars is a lot of the parts are interchangeable from 70 to 81. I have a friend who had a 77 Chevy Camaro. I was going to purchase it for $1500. and pull the whole subframe and everything and switch it all out. fenders. core support. hatever. Well now that I rescued the car. there's a few problems. main thing is I don't have a shop. the second problem is I have no tools. The car is mainly all there. although it is rough condition. the left rear quarter panel of course has Rust by the tire. which seems to be a typical problem. the right side does not. it seems pretty solid. I was surprised around the trunk area is not rusted out either. The floorboards look like they needs some work though. It has a Chevy 350 with an automatic in it. I haven't really looked over the car a whole lot. it's sitting out at my friends house. The grill is in the trunk. and it looks nice. The guy couldn't find the title. so we're applying for a lost title right now. To be honest the van was probably only worth about $800 or $900. so that's what I need as a minimum to get back on the car. I want to sell it to someone who sees what I see. or has memories like I have. the only differences you have a shop. tools and time. Thanks feel free to contact me anytime.
