Description for Chevrolet Other Pickups 1947
1947 Chevrolet 3100 115" wheelbase 6'6" bed pick up truck in survivor condition.I purchased this truck on Ebay this May and had plans on retromodding it but ended up buying a Nomad instead.
The pictures, except for the last 5, are from the original Ebay auction.
I would love to keep it but the Nomad is consuming too much of my time.
This truck runs and drives and is great looking.
I replaced the rear brake pads and cylinders' to make the brakes dependable.
I replaced the crank out windshield mechanism and it works as it should.
The rear fenders have cracks in the paint, most likely from too much filler in them but there is no rust evident beneath them or any where
else in the body.
This truck is being sold as is where is with no warranties expressed or implied.
I will be available to have the truck picked up from my location for transport to the seller.

The vin number on this 1947 3100 is: DBM12919 because it has an assigned VIN from Michigan.
The vin: DBM12919 carried over to the clear Colorado title registered in my name .
I stated that I replaced the rear brake pads and they are drum brakes so they are shoes, the old ones were soaked with brake fluid so i also replaced the rear wheel cylinders and bled the brakes. I purchased enough wheel cylinders and brake shoes to do the rest of the truck but the ones in it still look great so I will include the new parts with the truck.
