Here we have a 1962 Chevrolet Corvette for sale. This is one of the finest C1 Corvette's you'll ever see. It features a gorgeous color combination and is one of the best driving early model Vette's we've ever had. This was the start of the solid color Vette era that would remain until 1978. It was also the last year for the C1 Corvettes and ended solid axles along with being the last year for the exposed headlights until 2005. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of this Chevrolet but first we would like to tell you a little about us.

We will start off with the exterior of this '62. The body on it is nearly flawless with perfect body lines and excellent fit of all the panels. This car is finished in the Honduras Maroon that has been redone to a gorgeous shine that's slick as ribbon. Countless hours have been spent polishing it to a mirror finish. This convertible features the matching hardtop along with having the white soft-top as well. Up front you can see that the Bumpers are like new along with the Corvette Script and Emblems. A date coded windshield has been installed. We can also see that out back the rear bumpers are equally nice along with the taillights and Corvette Emblem. The cove lines up perfectly on both sides and we can also see the rocker molding has been replaced and is like new. To finish off the look it has the painted steel wheels that are sitting on Hankook Tires and have new centers.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Vette. On the inside it's done in the timeless black that flows perfectly with the exterior. Both seats are in phenomenal condition along with all the padding and springs. The door panels are equally nice along with the carpet. Looking at the dash you will be thoroughly impressed with how nice all the gauges are. They all look like new and are working as they should, down to the quartz clock. The dash is nearly perfect along with the grab bar and the factory style steering wheel. Both seal plates are like new as well and have an excellent fit. Inside the trunk it has the trunk mat along with the spare and tire changing tools.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the hood it's powered by a 300 HP 327 engine that has been bored .030", balanced, and fitted with a 350 HP Hydraulic Cam. It's mated to the Borg Warner T10 Transmission and the Solid Axle 3725899 Casting with around 3.55 Posi Gears. The Engine is dressed in the finned valve covers and the stock style air cleaner. It's setup with the GM Intake and Carter Four Barrel Carb. To keep it cool it has the clutch fan with the correct DeWitt's radiator. For brakes it has drums that have all been rebuilt with new shoes, hardware, hoses and the steel lines. Also, a new gas tank and sending unit have been installed. When you look under this C1 you're sure to be impressed as al of the floors looks original with no signs of abuse or damage. The frame is all solid as well and looks equally impressive. You can see that all the suspension under the front is in great condition.
