1955 Chevrolet Corvette Body on Rolling Chassis Project
Up for your consideration is a 1955 Corvette project. Original Pennant Blue with Red interior car. This car was parted out years ago. The body was soda blasted, small repairs made and put in primer. It will still need some more small repairs and blocking. The frame is the original 55 frame and is badly rusted with lots of small holes in the bottom of the rear kick-ups and rear rails (see last two pictures). The VIN on the frame is still visible. The rear differential assembly is from a later C1. These 55 Corvette projects are very hard to find and rarely come up for sale. Would be great for a restomod or could be put back original. Having a 54 donorto get all the hard expensive parts from would be ideal.
