Description for Chevrolet Impala 1970

We could tell you about the full size classic luxury that this 1970 Chevrolet Impala offers, but you're already mesmerized by the paint and wheels. In fact, this is a very cool combination of the original V8 and A/C interior with a cool take on the factory color. It all creates a very intoxicating and affordable package.
Let's start with the most obvious part of the car, its spectacular paintwork. It started out life as a Desert Sand coupe. That has a great 1970s quality, but now the high-quality respray in a matte finish gives it a touch of modern within the vintage style. And while a classic American cruiser often got a vinyl top, this one goes for uniqueness again, and shows off its distinct formal roof line with glossy white paint. It makes for a thoughtful way to have a unique classic. In fact, you can really tell they took extra time with this one. The body panels look excellent; the chrome bumpers are bright as they hug the body; and they paid attention to details, like the dealer badge that's still on the trunk. And while those polished 20-inch wheels are an obvious upgrade, they even made sure that they were the classic American Racing Torq Thrust alloys.
The interior remains exceptionally stock, which is a good thing. After all, gold vinyl is a nice complement to the exterior paint. But more than just color, this is a fantastic interior for its level of preservation. It can look this good, because the low odometer is believed to reflect the car's actual total mileage (averaging under 725 miles annually.) The seats and door panels are a time warp of golden goodness. So that premium button-top presentation is an instant standout. It's hard not enjoy the premium feeling of the that comes from the cool wood paneling that's throughout the interior. And it has all the best vintage pieces, from the extra wide speedometer to the Delco AM radio that's still there for display. It appears that they did make investments in correct replacements for the dash pad and headliner just so this could retain its premium atmosphere. And the classic Chevy sports steering wheel is a nice way to give you proper command of this coupe. Best of all, as a full-size Impala, you can share all of this with up to five family and friends, and factory air conditioning (now blowing cold with R134a refrigerant) keeps everyone comfortable.
Under the hood is the numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8, which is another testament of how nicely this car represents its era. The it shows good preservation, right down to the Rochester Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor. But it also has been maintained properly, including newer pieces like the alternator, hoses, belts, and brake master cylinder. The V8 starts right up, and keeps its luxury demeanor with a powerful but restrained exhaust note. More than just the factory motor, this has the numbers-matching three-speed automatic transmission and date-correct 12-bolt rear end. This is Chevrolet's personal luxury statement, and so you get great driving features such as power steering, power brakes, front discs, and grippy performance tires afforded by the wheel upgrade.
You fell in love with the look of this Impala before you even before you saw the preservation or the value price. That's why we know it will be going to a new home soon. If you want it to be yours, hurry up and call today!
