Going on 6 years ago I won the bid on this Prairie Du Sac Wisconsin Fire Department Chevy 4x4 Suburban.Early on I replaced oil pump,rod bearings,pan gasket,distributor and sensors(tbs,iac,cts,o2) and exhaust. Later replaced front brakes,calipers,hoses,front wheel bearings,fuel pump,rebuilt tbi,valve job,lifters,head gaskets,intake gaskets,valve cover gaskets,front and rear leaf springs,shocks(2 1/2 lift kit) then installed 33 inch all terrain tires.Ground rust that was starting on rear wheel arches,door corner, treated,filled and painted (amateur job see video/pics).Shows 44k probably 144k.Air works not super cold,and 4x4 works.I really like this truck, it’s a good solid reliable survivor that we’ve used for going to work and play.
