Description for Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1955
1955 Bel Air 2dr WagonHealth issues are going to keep me from being able to build it. It was last on the road in 1984. Stored INDOORS since then. I have battled selling it due to my circumstances or keeping it.
This is an extremely rare 2 door station wagon. Not a nomad, but much the same. The car is in very good mostly original condition. I don't think it has any rust. This is well worth the investment, the price of restored 2dr wagons is wild if you can find them.
Excellent LS swap candidate!-Engine bay is partially disassembled-327 sitting in place ( 0.040 flat top pistons and double hump heads, large journal crank, 4 bolt mains)-Modified 700r4 corvette transmission
I have lots of parts that can go with it for the right price. new parts available: Long tube ceramic headers, high torque starter, carb of your choice, Edelbrock performer intake or iron spread bore 4 barrel.
I have 4 sets of used iron heads, and lots of other SBC stuff that can go with it.
The modifications I know are:-paint (possibly body work/ unknown)-mostly upgraded 12v wiring-the drivetrain update-steering wheel-Cragar wheels-carpet
This work ^ was done in the 80's by the previous owner, and was running and driving with the current powertrain before disassembly. It hasn't been touched after health problems for almost 40 years.
It will need:-tires-fuel tank cleaned surely-driver window glass is cracked-engine/ engine bay reassembled to your liking
