Description for Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1957
I am helping sell this absolutely-stunning, super-cool, very-desirable, original-survivor, 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Nomad, 2-door station wagon -with factory air- to help settle the estate of a classic car lover. Since purchased new, this great-American, one-family-owned, classic has only 39,655, original miles. It has always been garage-kept and very well maintained. This vehicle has an absolutely fabulous, straight-as-an-arrow, rust and ding-free body - professionally refinished in 1969 - still looking good today. It has been extremely well preserved - showing only minor paint flaws and blemishes. All of the panels, chrome, trim and tinted glass is original to the car. The entire black interior looks and feels very good. The rest of the inside is just as nice - from the dash and door panels, to the carpet, mats and headliner. The original chrome and trim also looks great. The undercarriage looks as solid as the rest of the car and it is rolling on a nice set of wide whitewall BF Goodrich Silvertown radials. This car is absolutely gorgeous and draws a crowd of admirers wherever it goes.
It is loaded with options... Original 283 cubic-inch, V8, 4-barrel, power pac engine, powerglide transmission, posi-rear axle, dual exhaust, power steering, power windows, power seat, power antenna, day and night mirror, floor mats, bumper guards, door edge guards, door handle guards, tinted glass, push button radio, spinner full wheel covers, tissue dispenser, trash bag, backup lights, electric wipers and the very rare, factory A/C - with the original air conditioned sticker still on the back window. It starts, runs, drives, shifts, handles, brakes, and sounds excellent.
The entire vehicle is nicely detailed and ready for the most discriminating collector, enthusiast or classic car lover. Everything works exactly as it should. It is truly investment grade. This vehicle is ready to drive cross country, enjoy or show immediately. This is truly a great investment - climbing in value every year. The current NADA Book Value is: Low-$99,100; Average-$153,200; High-$208,700. Do not let these values stop you from making an offer today. This car is being sold with absolutely NO RESERVE.
