Hello everyone and welcome to a 7 day NO RESERVE auction for a 1964 Chevy Chevelle malibu true SS super sport convertible.
This Chevelle has documentation to be in the same family and state of southern CA since 1965!
Trim tag shows a true SS convertible built in Kansas with 900 paint code factory triple black!
This Chevelle is an excellent candidate for a full pro touring prostreet.
Equipped with 4 wheel wilwood slot and ported disc brakes, tubular front end with adjustable coil overs, and four link rear end.
Drivetrain is a LS1 with ported heads (241), 102mm throttle body, ict intake, full length headers 1 7/8, btr stage 2 NA mild cam, cvf serpentine system and flowmaster exhaust. Transmission is a 4L60e with a btr 2800 stall converter. All receipts will go with sale over $25,000 in parts and labor.
This Chevelle is very aggressive and wants to open up very quickly however it is NOT completely road ready I highly suggest a computer tune of some sort vehicle sat for a few years until just a few weeks ago. Ive only driven it around the corner seems very healthy and strong but I'm not sure about how the tunes work. There are no signs of leaking, overheating, knocking or unwanted noises very strong healthy engine.
The paint and body is in "okay" condition, does seem all sheet metal is original and accident free. Showing a couple spots of bubbling on both quarter panels but is very minor there is some body filler that has cracked around drivers rear side wheel well. The frame, floors, trunk, firewall, door jams are completely rust free very solid! Paint does has a few scratches and dents but nothing structural.
Suspension has all been urgraded along with new body mounts.
Interior seems to be original except for steering wheel, carpet and top.
New painless wiring
Wheels are 20x8.5 with new nitto 555 tires
This vehicle holds a clean CA title and registration is current for CA residents.
The family that sold us this Chevelle has had it in their family since 1965 and restored in 2013 unfortunately the gentleman that drove and built the car had a stroke in 2018 and the car sat in there garage until recently.
