1980 Corvette Yellow Automatic T-Tops

Description for Chevrolet Corvette 1980

Available today is a 1980 Corvette in yellow with black interior. Mileage on the car shows 56,7XX but actual mileage is unknown and is exempt. Car features automatic trans. with T-Tops and is being offered with a clear Florida title. According to the owner, it is non-matching #'s car. VIN # is 1Z878AS408095.
The car was purchased a few years ago and has not seen too much action due to the owner being deployed overseas.
The car is by no means pristine but has good bones. It runs and drives but has some issues. Cosmetically, the paint is OK and shows well from a distance. Up close, there are flaws as you'd expect from aging lacquer paint. The wheels show some wear and could use some polish. The interior is overall very good (please inspect pictures carefully).
Mechanically, the car would benefit from some TLC or attention from someone who is very handy and knows Corvettes. The headlights do not go up without a little help, there is a leak in the power steering systems, not sure if the AC works or might need repair, weatherstripping should be looked at and replaced if needed - just to name a few issues.
Any prospective buyer would benefit from inspecting the car personally or to hire an inspector so that they are completely informed. Car is being sold "as is" and "where is" so do your due diligence as any prudent bidder/buyer would.
