For sale is a 1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1
Red / Red color combination. Early production (#413) with steel half shafts.
Original LT5 DOHC V8 Engine and ZF 6 Speed Manual Transmission
Notes:Plenty of maintenance performed (will provide receipts upon delivery) including:-upgraded fuel injectors that are compatible with ethanol fuel (completed by ZR-1 Specialist Marc Haibeck in 2018)-serviced & replaced clutch with OEM Dual Mass flywheel, precision balanced with new pressure plate-upgraded rear gearing to 4.10 gears with speedometer correction gear. 4.10 gearing adds 18% of torque to the rear wheels, across the entire power band-Hurst short throw shifter-Brand new water pump (replaced October 2022)-Brand new alternator (replaced May 2022)-Serpentine belt, air filter, battery all recently replaced-New weather stripping on all seals from Corvette Rubber (November 2020)-New secondary actuator pump (July 2022)-New spark plugs (ACDelco Copper) installed in July 2022-OEM speakers and radio serviced (CD player does not function, common problem)-Slotted & Drilled front brake rotors, new rear rotors, and ceramic pads all around (less than 1,000 miles)-Engine Oil, Transmission Fluid/Oil, Differential Oil, Coolant, Brake Fluid, & Clutch fluid all replaced in past 2 years)-Car has both transparent and body-colored targa tops-Rear leaf spring was replaced under prior ownership-Car has had a professional paint correction with ceramic wax-Mickey Thompson Street Comp tires, less than 2,000 miles-Original AC system blows cold-All other factory systems and features function unless otherwise noted.
Areas where the car is not perfect:There are 2 areas on the car where the paint has cracked (likely from age) and touched up (right rear and passenger door). I've included pictures of these areas in the listing. There is also a small crack/chip in the original windshield, that appears to have been epoxied/filled under prior ownership. This is also in the pictures. There is an "INFL REST" light on the dash, the error code states a ground issue on the right front sensor. I've reset this before but it eventually comes back. This is a fairly common problem on these cars. The right rear wheel has a few marks around the lip from what I believe to have been caused by a flat tire. I do not have a front license plate cover for the car. Both seats need new lumbar "bags" for the lumbar adjustments to function (motors/pumps work). These bags have been backordered for some time.
Clean Indiana title is in my possession. Will be released upon receipt of complete/final payment. Buyer responsible for shipping arrangements if needed.
