1994 Chevrolet Suburban K2500 6.5 Turbo Diesel 4x4

The previous owner was a diesel mechanic, well maintained and serviced.

Engine and transmission running strong. The frame is solid and clean. Tires are 80%. Rear barn doors.

Over $3k of recent service by pro Diesel mechanic.

New: Brakes and steel brake lines, rotors, steering rack, staring gear box, catalytic converter, and exhaust repair, new synthetic oil, new transmission fluid, coolant flushed and replaced, brake fluid replaced, power steering fluid flushed and replaced, new glow plugs.

Drives and tracks straight down the highway, and will cruise at 70mph all day.

All signals, headlights, reverse lights, and brake lights function. All gauges function, including speedometer, temp, oil pressure, and odometer. Fuel gauge sometimes gets stuck at 1/4 tank. The fuel tank float seems to be unreliable and could be easily upgraded, I have just gone off mileage, not on my list of priorities to replace. Will pass inspection, and qualifies as classic so it's exempt from emissions.

Interior:

Front and rear AC and heat with independent controls, AC blows cold and heater blows hot. The heater fan actuator is making a tapping noise, a common part to fail. I have the part and hopefully will get a chance to install.

The interior is in very good condition. 2 Captains Chairs, second row folds down, third row intact, plush blue upholstery and blue carpets. No floor mats. Driver's seat is not torn as they always are of this era.

Electric windows, electric driver's seat functions. The radio functions.

Exterior:

Two coats of Durbak light grey smooth finish. If you're unfamiliar with Durabak it is the highest quality, most durable paint on the market. Minor dent in the driver's front quarter panel.

Rocker panels, wheel wells, and bottoms of doors are all intact with no rust - which is incredibly rare. Entire chassis has been coated in phosphoric acid and rust inhibitor.

These typically sell for $12k+ and are basically extinct. I purchased this with the intention of turning into an exploration and camping rig but this really built for highway driving and towing.
