1985 Chevrolet C3500 DuallyAn extensive 5 year restoration has just been completed.Truck was completely disassembled, body work/ painted & completely gone through.
The truck looks amazing, runs like a top & sounds like "Days of Thunder" race car.Rides very smooth & can be your daily driver or show truck.
Here's the list of everything done:
EXTERIOR;Media blast, custom paint (Metallic Aqua Blue Poly/ White base coat) & body work.*Paint color is very unique. Sometimes it looks Teal Green & sometimes Aqua Blue.Engine compartment, inner hood & firewall painted flat Black.
New;Rubber, weatherstrip, gaskets & felts on all windows, doors, windshield & sleeper cab.Rubber "pass through" gasket on sleeper cab.Windshield, side wing posts and glass.Tempered glass on sleeper cab side & rear windows.Sleeper cab floor has been rebuilt with new wood floor & coated with Black weatherproofing.Spray on bedliner.LED lights with smoked lenses on running/ blinker/ brake & cab areas.Exterior door handles.Side mirrors.Front bumper and air deflector.Nexen tires: 265/35R22All chrome & S.S. polished.

MECHANICAL:Original 454/ Turbo 400 motor & trans freshened up with tune up, fluids, hoses, etc..
New;Edelbrock High Rise manifold.Edelbrock 4 barrel carb, professionally honed out, for peak performance & better fuel flow.Heater core & blower motor rebuilt.AC charged.Fuel pump, starter & washer pump.Headers (wrapped with Grey Asbestos tape).3" exhaust pipes with H cross over, into Black Widow Venom 300 mufflers.Front suspension rebuilt, Control arms, Idler arm, Power Steering gear box, Column Flex Coupling.Rear differential center bearing and gasket. 3:73 gears.Rubber fuel lines redone, when bed was pulled.
INTERIOR:Entire interior wrapped with heat & sound deadener.
New;Black Carpet (including up back cab wall).Black suede headliner.Heated front bench seat (3 temperature range).Front/ back bench seats & sleeper cab pad covered in Black suede & vinyl.Door panels wrapped in Black suede & vinyl.Ceramic window tint.Dash, dash molding & Black dash pad.Tach & fuel gauge.Window/ door activator switches and fuel tank crossover.Helper bag switchWindow motors & regulators greased.

The only two minor things that I haven't addressed are:Rear rim lip was accidentally scraped on curb. I was quoted $250- $300 to polish out.Speedo cable makes noise @ dash & needs to be greased (typical for Squarebody trucks).
