When it was built they spent a lot of time and money. It has a street rod frame with late model running gears. all custom interior. and it’s a steel body. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior. interior. and heartbeat of the Chevy. but first we would like to tell you a little about us. Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned. operated. and own our entire inventory. no consignments. and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So. that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. The cab on it is all steel with steel fenders and running boards. When you look at the fit of the panels they are all good. The panels are straight as an arrow. It has new glass and seals with new weather stripping. The chrome and stainless also looks very good. For the bed it’s steel with glass fenders. The bed was replaced with an aluminum diamond plate that has the door for the fuel tank. When you look at the paint it’s covered in a blue green metallic paint that has a killer shine and is slick to the touch. The finish off the exterior it has the fender mounted spare with a leather cover and is sitting on a set of gray 18” and 20” American Wheels with new tires. Next. we will take a look at the interior of the ’36. On the inside it’s done in gray that is the perfect complement to the color scheme with the interior metal being painted to match the outside. The bucket seats and headliner are cloth as well. The door panels and back of the cab are done in gray cloth and vinyl. When you look at the dash it has dolphin gauges and a tilt column with a custom wheel. The A/C vents were fitted into the dash as well. The radio is fitted between the seat and the trans has a Locar shifter and boot. It has the single electric wiper with controls at the motor. Finally. we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it’s powered by a Tuned Port Injected V8 that is mated to a 700R Trans. The engine has a polished intake along with Polished Aluminum Radiator and electric fan. The exhaust flows thru Shorty Coated Headers and dual flows. The frame is custom built with a Mustang II Style front end that has Power Rack and Pinion Steering. The Back has a 9” Ford with 4 Link and Coil Overs. The brakes are also power with Disc on all 4 corners. To Sum up this truck the engine has less than 300 miles on the build and we have an Album with pics of the build.
