1971 Chevrolet Camaro SSI am selling my restored 1971 SS Camaro. a real SS--not a clone and is currently a split bumper car. I do have the original “Build Sheet” on it. Less than 1. 00 miles since restoration. This car received a full frame-off nut and bolt 2-year rotisserie restoration. It was in very good shape to begin with. with very little rust. It had low miles on it when I bought it 4 years ago. Quarters and fenders had minor rust. which was replaced. It had no rust in the floors. trunk or frame rails. The color I chose is beautiful “Sunburst Orange Metallic” with painted-on black stripe on the hood and the original vinyl top was replaced and the black top really looks good! Engine is a 1971. 350 completely rebuilt with pro-comp aluminum heads; cam shaft is 234º 488º. It has a Scat Rotating Assembly 30 over pistons. Edelbrock Air-gap Manifold. and has an Edelbrock 750 Performer carb w/ electric choke. It has headers with 3 inch exhaust and sounds Good!!!!!!!! I will give you the option of keeping this high performance motor. or I can change it to a lower horsepower motor and a 400 turbo transmission. Transmission is a High Performance built 700-R4 Automatic Transmission with a B&M Shifter. Rear Axle is a built 12 bolt Posi Rear-end with 3:73 gears with heavy axles. It has disc brakes on the rear and a third-member reinforcement plate. Suspension is all new by Energy Suspension Hyperflex Bushing Kit and front has disc brakes. It has all new steel brake and fuel lines with a fuel cell in the trunk. The car will come with a nice set of corvette wheels/tires (see picture). not what is shown on the car. The underside frame of the Vehicle was painted with black rust inhibitor paint. Black Interior is mostly new; a custom dash with dolphin gauges. new carpet. dash pad. headliner. and new door panels. This car runs and drives perfect. Everything fits nice; all the gaps are very nice. I have lots of receipts. and many more pictures. I do not drive this car as much as I could. but have trailered it to a half dozen car shows since its completion. with awards/trophies to show.
