You are looking at a 1953 Chevy Rat Rod/Shop truck. I built this truck last spring and enjoyed it all last summer. Original paint with Matte clear coat over it. Truck has rust in the usual places but very solid. Only rust I fixed was patching floors and minor fender fixes. All original GM steel. Drives down the road very nice and handles better than expected. Frame has a Camaro sub welded to original truck frame. That's why she sits nice and low. All new brakes. hardware and lines. Front disc and rear drum . master cylinder from S10. Rear end is from the same Camaro. non-posi. Cant remember the gear ratio but believe it was 3:08. Fuel Tank: Aftermarket mounted under the bed. Fill spout is in the bed area. Tank has provisions for fuel injection pump if you wanted to upgrade. Suspension: Front is original Camaro with new springs and steering components. Rear is TCI leaf spring kit. Engine: Totally rebuilt. All machine work done by a local reputable shop. 1. 94 heads all redone. Block bored . 30 over. new pistons and reconditioned rods. Mild cam with double roller chain. Aluminum Intake with Edelbrock 600 carb. Turbo 400 transmission. All cooled with a new 3 core aluminum radiator. Glass pack exhaust. All the little things are new as well. ie. belts. hoses. rear end seals. shocks. all suspension. brake hardware. u-joints. etc. Interior: Painted flat black. Glass has been upgraded to safety glass. Seats are from a new Dodge Dakota( foldable center console and cup holders). new carpet. headliner. and door panel. Finished with carpet behind seats as well as the floor. S10 tilt column and S10 seat belts. Dolphin Gauges and all new EZ wiring harness. All gauges work as they should Bed: shortbed. 1x6 green treated Tung and groove. Antiqued with green stain. Overall the truck is very solid and in excellent mechanical shape. I think its just plain cool. Sounds cool. looks cools. The stock heater box has been removed. So it does not have heat. Original wiper motor(vacuum) and wiper linkage still in truck but is not hooked up and has not been tested.
