Description for Chevrolet Other 1940
FOR SALE: 1940 Chevrolet Special Deluxe Sedan The car is powered by a Chevrolet 350 cubic-inch V8 that is paired to an automatic transmission; both engine and transmission were sourced from a late-1970’s-early 1980’s donor. The car runs. rides. and drives great and the modern powertrain is a consistent provider of worry-free enjoyment. The modern powertrain offers power and reliability that is a must-have if you plan on enjoying such a beautiful car. The car has been professionally refinished in a striking blue hue that pairs well with the tan and brown interior. The interior exists in original form and an abundance of original interior components are still in place on the car. The car rolls on near-new tires that were purchased from Coker Tire approximately one year ago. The original-style tires are mounted on the original wheels that have been refinished and refreshed with a new set of chrome “moons. ” Approximately one week ago. I had a brand new stereo system installed in the original compartments. The radio is an old-style radio. but it features modern internals. The speakers are modern and they are mounted behind the speaker grill in the dash. This system was $400. 00. The car allows driver and passengers to enter through super cool “suicide” doors. The “suicide” doors are a unique and exquisite characteristic. The chrome trim and accents are in excellent condition; most of these components are new while some of these components are original. This car will allow you to immediately enjoy a unique classic that always warrants an abundance of attention. I kid you not. you will stop at least one person dead in their tracks on each block and you better have time to talk once you make a stop. The car has always been garage-kept and it is easy to see that it has been well-cared for. The car carries a clean and clear title that is ready for transfer. The car nor the title will leave my possession until the full purchase price amount has been received in a certified payment form. I prefer cash or a wire-transfer but I will accept a cashier's check if you do not have access to the previous payment forms. A cashier's check is subject to a 7-day clearance period (my bank's policy. not mine). If you choose to ship the car. I will accommodate any shipping arrangements that you may make. but the purchaser will remain financially responsible for the entire shipping process. *IF YOU BID ON THE CAR. NO MATTER THE AMOUNT OF YOUR BID. PLEASE PLAN TO COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION IN THE EVENT THAT YOUR BID IS THE WINNING BID. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS. PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH THOSE QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. I HAVE PROVIDED MY PHONE NUMBER BELOW TO MAKE CONTACTING ME A BREEZE. A $500. 00 DEPOSIT MUST BE RECEIVED BY ME WITHIN 48-HOURS OF THE AUCTION END UNLESS YOU PAY FOR THE CAR WITHIN THIS TIME FRAME. MY RECENT EXPERIENCES WITH NON-PAYING BIDDERS FORCES ME TO INTEGRATE THIS REQUIREMENT INTO MY LISTING. THIS LISTING CARRIES A MODEST RESERVE THAT INVITES SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY! I can be reached with a call or a text at (270) 748-1882. I greatly appreciate your interest and I look forward to hearing from you!
